Celebrating Armed Forces Day - 04/17/2018

The Armed Forces Day program will be held Monday, May 7th, 2018.  This annual event is co-sponsored by the the Kiwanis Club of Springfield, Springfield Rotary Club, Springfield Exchange Club, and the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association. It will be held at the Hollenbeck/Bayley Convention Center at noon.

This program recognizes & honors area military units, installations and assigned personnel who serve the Springfield-Clark County Community, the State of Ohio and the United States of America in the preservation of our freedom and the pursuit of World Peace through strength.  

Springfield Kiwanis has been a part of this event to honor our military for over 30 years.


Kiwanis Pancake Day April 28, 2018 - 04/14/2018

The 2018 Kiwanis Pancake Day will take place on Sat.,  April 28 from 7:00 AM - Noon at St. John's Lutheran Church located at 27 N. Wittenberg Ave., Springfield, Ohio.  The all-the-pancakes-you-can-eat meal also includes orange juice, milk, coffee and limited sausage.  Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door.

  • Kiwanis-Wittenberg Basketball Classic
  • Golden Wedding at the Clark County Fair
  • Ohio Farm Bureau Agriculture in the Classroom program

  • Circle K Club at Wittenberg University

Kiwanis Springfield Children's Garden - 04/11/2018

The Kiwanis Children’s Garden of the Snyder Park Gardens and Arboretum will be a free and accessible place of wonder, beauty, fun, whimsy and education for all the school-aged children of the Springfield and Clark county community.  The garden was deisgned and is being built by Hollandia Gardens Association. Built in sections as funds are raised, the Kiwanis Children's Garden is to be completed for the 100th anniversary of the  club in May of 2019.

Celebrating 100th Anniversary May 20, 2019 - 04/11/2018

The Kiwanis Club of Springfield members are planning for a weekend of celebrating the club's 100th anniversary in May of 2019.  More details and stories will follow on this important celebration of the history and future of the club.
